A DNA collection is made by scraping the inside of the cheek with a cotton swab, collecting saliva and cells. The samples are then sent to Nordic Laboratories in secure packaging. Analysis is complete about three weeks after Nordic Laboratories receives the sample.
DNA SPORT PERFORMANCE FACTORS
1. Strength and endurance:
Tests for genes encoding physiological factors such circulatory and cardiovascular performance; blood pressure; heart and lung capacity; muscle strength; and adaption to training.
2. Tendon pathology:
