Lucy Stephens is a clinical psychoneuroimmunologist, medical herbalist and nutritionist. Her philosophy of health is the fact that evolution holds the key to many of today's modern diseases.. She explains that our bodies were designed in a particular way, to survive in a particular environment. We now live very differently from the environment in which we evolved, and individual gene changes play a role in determining our health challenges in this new environment. If we understand a little more about our genetics, and our susceptibility for certain diseases, then then we can prevent and treat much of today's modern disease by living a little more the way we were designed.
Lucy works at Reva Clinic Center, which is based in London Bridge, SE1 3SU. She has a special interest in chronic long-term illness, digestive and gynaecological health, and children's health.
Fleur Borrelli i a clinical psycho-neuro-immunologist and nutritional therapist. She works from two busy sports injury clinics, one in Chiswick (www.bodiesunderconstructionphysio.com) and the other in Putney (www.putneyclinic.co.uk). She provides consultations for athletes both professional and recreational and those may not realise they are going to be athletes yet! Because both clinics are situated by the river, this allows her to pursue her love of endurance running when she is not seeing clients. In her point of view, The DNAlife tests will empower her clients to have a greater understanding of how dietary and lifestyle measures can take them to new levels of health. It will also allow them to work towards sporting challenges whilst remaining injury-free.
